Parents of Adult Children (PAC)
Several parents of children in their twenties and thirties who suffer from an
ongoing mental illness have begun meeting with other parents living with the
same situation. What are your experiences with your son or daughter? What
worries you? What have you learned? How do you cope? Here’s your chance to help
build a support group from scratch and share information with people who know
just what you’re going though.
While the other support groups invite any family members, this group will
benefit those who have been struggling with mental illness for a longtime and
are want to meet others in similar situations.
The group meets at AMI offices once a month from 7 pm-8:30 pm. Come for cake
and tea and an evening that will do you good.
For more information, call AMI at 514-486-1448.
